Why are Raised Scents different?

Traditional deer scents rely primarily on urine, which degrades quickly and offers only narrow margin and short-term communication level. In contrast, Raised Scents are glandular based, derived from key whitetail glands such as the preoribital, forehead, salivary, and other glands. These glandular secretions contain a broader spectrum of pheromones and compounds that deer use for complex, long-lasting communication related to dominance, territorial, and breeding behavior.

We've utilized glandular-based scents since 2018, and after years of field success, began offering our proprietary blends to hunters In 2022. The result is a more biologically authentic scent profile that holds up in a wider range of conditions and consistently triggers a stronger response from all whitetails including the most mature bucks.

Due to our scents being completely natural, we are limited to the amount we can make. With that being said, our scents are typically in stock from Mid June through Mid November.

We recommend keeping your scents in a climate controlled area when not in use. During the season you may have them with you to check cameras or to go hunting, just try to avoid excessive heat or cold. Out of the season, simply throw them in the fridge until next year.

Just about all of our scents can be used any time of the year. Although, there are peak times of the year when you will get better results. Check out these videos for more information. All About Raised Scents
